Prof. Seung-Ho Yu has been selected as a recipient of the 10th Seoktop Research Award for the 2025 academic year.

Korea University established the Seoktop Research Award in 2016 to recognize full-time faculty members who have made outstanding research contributions and significantly enhanced the university’s research excellence. The award also aims to promote a long-term culture of research excellence within the institution.

The 10th Seoktop Research Award (Academic Year 2025) evaluated candidates based on academic journal publications, scholarly monographs, and externally funded research projects conducted during the 2025 academic year. The recipients were selected from among the top 3% of faculty members in each disciplinary category, based on a composite evaluation of research quality, research volume, and indirect research funding contributions. Additional recognition was given to lead authors of NSC-listed scholarly articles, principal authors of numerous international collaborative publications, and faculty members who achieved the highest contributions in external indirect research funding in their respective fields.

본교 전임교원 중 탁월한 연구 성과로 본교 연구력 향상에 기여한 교원을 포상하여 널리 알리고, 장기적으로 연구를 장려하는 문화를 형성하기 위해, 고려대학교에서는 2016년부터 석탑연구상을 제정하여 시행하고 있습니다.

2025학년도 제 10회 석탑연구상은 2025년 학술논문, 학술단행본, 교외연구과제를 대상으로 수상자 선정을 진행하였으며, 연구의 질, 연구의 양, 교외연구과제 간접비 기여액을 합산하여 평가계열별 상위 3% 이내에 속하는 교원과 NSC학술연구논문 게재 주저자, 국제협력 논문 다수 게재 주저자, 두 학문분야별 교외연구 과제 간접비 기여액이 가장 많은 교원을 선정하였습니다.
